On April 14th, my family attended the South Lafourche baseball team’s last game for the 2025 season. One of Roman’s best friends, Jack Ledet, is a senior on the team. He is a Delgado Baseball Commit and will continue his baseball career there in the fall. As he stepped up to the plate for his last high-school at bat, he just so happened to hit a home run. Not only was this his only home run of the season, but the ball went right over The Roman Foundation banner hanging on the outfield fence.
