The Holy Spirit had me preparing to come to St. Augustine for our National Fraternus Pilgrimage when I got a call from Mitch Pitre. I could hear the pain in his voice when he shared the passing of Roman, however there was something was very different in his voice as well. Mitch immediately shared with me Roman’s journey, his challenges, but more importantly how Roman met and handled those challenges. Roman is Christ's worrior in life and in death! My heart sank and then the Holy Spirit poured into me from Roman’s life, through Mitch over the coming days. I received calls, text, pictures, videos, and this beautiful web site to the testimony of Romans life. I want the family to know that his Fraternus Brotherood 1,283 men and young men will remember Roman and carry his legacy forward. We will use the life of Roman and all the beauty he brought to the world to promote and further the brotherhood. My heart breaks for all of his family. In a few hours I will thank the volunteers of Fraternus for their time and work. Time is precious, and we realize that in times such as this even more. Today I will share how this young man Roman used his time wisely furthering Christ’s Kingdom and living as Christ intended us to. Many on here have said "we all need to be more like Roman" and I agree. Thank you for sharing Romans life with the brotherhood, we will continue to do the same.

God Bless you Roman.
