I’ve had the honor to be best friends with Ivy for as long as I can remember. And to know Ivy, was to know Roman. They are the two easiest people to love: constantly trying to light up every room they walk into. I have grown up with 3 siblings, but I never truly understood how special Ivy and Roman’s bond was. Every summer, Ivy and I would go to camp for about 3 weeks. We brought pictures of our family to show everyone since we could not have our phones, and most of Ivy’s pictures were of Roman. Every camper in our cabin knew about Roman and how much Ivy loved him, and we all begged her to get him to come to camp one summer. It was so hard for her to spend weeks away from him, and I remember her beaming reading emails from her Mom about what Roman was up to back at home. I could only dream of being a fraction of the amazing, faith-centered person Roman was in this world ❤️
